Non ricordo con esattezza quale fu lo stimolo trenta anni fa ma ricordo esattamente la mia prima reflex ....una zenith ...ed una gran voglia di imparare a fotografare.

Senza esposimetro e ovviamente a fuoco manuale mi obbligò a conoscere le regole base della fotografia .... una "vera nave scuola".

Il target di allora non era fare una bella foto.... ma era riuscirla a fare !

Ringrazio ancora la vecchia zenith...con lei fui obbligato a leggere quanto più possibile sulla fotografia e sulle sue " regole ".

Appena potei mi comprai la mia prima autofocus ...una Minolta 800si ..da allora sono rimasto istintivamente legato a quel sole stilizzato ..

Sfogliando le brochures degli obiettivi rimanevo affascinato per la bellezza di quei saturi colori dei trattamenti antiriflesso, con le loro livree nere e bianche.

Il costo di allora era però proibitivo (per me) ....oggi(2012) quelle ottiche continuano a/d r/esistere ed "impressionare" i sensori delle più nuove macchine digitali in modo eccellente.
La loro qualità costruttiva e ottica è indubbia ...lasciando molti rimpianti a chi si trovò "orfano" quando Minolta scelse la chiusura del settore fotografico.

Con vecchia passione ed inalterato fascino verso questo marchio ho la gioia di avere acquistato negli anni alcuni di questi stupendi oggetti .

Nasce così questo piccolo spazio web come tributo a questa casa Nipponica ed alcuni dei suoi prodotti ottici.

I can't remember what and how the feeling was thirty years ago, anyway I do exactly remember my first film-camera .... one SLR Zenith m42 screwmount .
I'll never forget the huge desire to learn how to photograph.

This kind of fully manual camera equiped with no light meter and no autofocus , forced me to learn as much as possible.

The aim target at that time was not to take a good shot .... but it was to do it!

Thanks to that hype/euphoria i read and folded lot of books learning its own rules.
Those crazy rules that sound everything and its opposite.

As soon as I could I bought my very first autofocus camera ... a solid Minolta 800si . Since then I was instinctively tied to that stylized sun .. that charming logo.

Leafing through the lenses' brochures pages I was fascinated by the beauty of those saturated colors of the coating treatments.
​And again ..how to forget those high end lenses with their black and white liveries so graceful and damned expensive.
​Lucky or not , ages and years are gone and I can buy these gems eventually.
I bought them, slowly, year by year because of an irrational passion.
These lenses can be used on digital camera yet and their scores and performances are still surprisingly high .
No doubts on build and glass quality .
